Family Plan FAQ

Do I need to update the app?

No. Family Plans work entirely from this web dashboard. The Zus Player app on your devices doesn't need any updates.

How do I add a device?

Open Zus Player on the device, go to Settings, and note the MAC address and device key. Enter those in your dashboard to link the device.

Can I replace a device?

Yes! Remove the old device and add a new one. There's a 24-hour cooldown after removing a device before the slot can be reused.

What happens if my plan expires?

Your devices will lose activation through the family plan. However, if a device has its own individual activation, that will still work.

Can I extend my subscription?

Absolutely. Purchase another plan from your dashboard and the time is added to your existing subscription.

What if a device is already activated?

Adding an already-activated device to a family plan works fine. The device uses whichever expiry is later — individual or family.
